Covid-19

We Are Taking Emergency Appointments Only

To Our Patients, Friends, Neighbors, and Co-Workers,

I hope this message finds you well amid the current climate of uncertainty we are facing. Needless to say, we are all being affected in unprecedented ways by the events surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.

The intention of this message is to inform you of the many steps we are taking here at Leading Smiles to ensure optimal levels of health and safety for everyone. Our standard sterilization and infection control practices already align with all state and federal guidelines – maintaining Universal Precautions against the spread of AIDS, the Flu, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis and all other pathogens of concern. COVID-19 is no exception.

In addition, we are now taking extra measures to protect you, including double-wiping treatment areas, countertops, doors, and restrooms hourly. We will continue using protective gear and safe practices when seeing patients, who we will be taking by appointment only throughout the course of this national threat. We are screening all of our team and patients prior to entering the office. If you are experiencing symptoms, such as a cough and fever, we encourage you to seek medical attention.

You can do your part by having excellent hand hygiene. Frequently washing your hands for 20-30 seconds with soap and water is recommended. Hand-to-hand contact should be limited as much as possible.

As always, the well-being of our team and patients is our number one priority. We are fully committed to minimizing risks to you, as well as your families and surrounding circles. Throughout this time, we want to continue to provide you with the best possible dental care. We will stay committed to helping you, and we look forward to seeing you at your next visit!

Sincerely,

Gary Sapienza, DMD, MAGD, DICOI
