The technologically advanced aligner system utilizes unique mouth trays made from sturdy medical-grade plastic. The trays are custom-fit for each patient, who receives a series of up to 28 tray sets, each of which is in succession to slowly shift your teeth into the desired position. The trays are worn 22 hours a day, and by switching out to a new set every two weeks, patients will begin to see the results in a short period of time. Invisalign® can be used as a stand-alone orthodontic treatment, or as part of a multifaceted full mouth restoration that includes other procedures such as veneers, bridges, or dental implants.
Prior to using Invisalign®, Dr. Sapienza will examine your oral health and treat any decay or damage to the teeth prior to starting treatment.
